Our latest tool in the fight against fraud is YOU. New INTERACTIVE fraud alerts are being implemented. What this means is this: when your debit card is used in a way that looks unusual, a text message will be generated asking if you did the transaction. If you reply NO, the card will be blocked for future, fraudulent transactions. If you reply YES, that transaction will be added to the “normal” baseline for you and future transactions will go through normally.
