First National Bank is committed to being an integral part of each of the communities it serves. The owners and management of FNB believe that, as a responsible corporate citizen, it is important that the bank give back to its local area through volunteerism and financial support.
At First National, our people know first-hand how important it is to help each other and to help out in our communities. All staff members are encouraged to be involved in charitable, educational and community organizations and events. It may be volunteering to teach a class, helping out with a field trip, working on the board of a local organization, delivering meals, organizing food or clothing drives, or any of a multitude of other ways to help out. Giving is a part of our company’s culture and our staff demonstrates that each and every day. First National employees give over 3,000 hours of their own time each year volunteering to help others. You’ll find First National employees and their families involved in all sorts of charitable activities!
Each year, First National Bank establishes a budget for financial donations to charitable and community organizations. Contributions are targeted to meet public needs in First National Bank’s market area of Ashton, Oregon and Rochelle. Requests are accepted for organizations that help people and the local community with:
- Community Development (affordable housing, job creation or training, or community revitalization)
- Human Services (domestic violence, services for senior citizens, etc.)
- Civic Organizations chartered to meet these same types of needs
When you choose First National Bank, you help to support these community service organizations and the people they serve. List of organizations that we have supported
